The location of the Century in Kyoto is unbeatable, just steps away from the train station. This made traveling around the city super convenient, especially for day trips. The hotel lobby is beautiful and welcoming, with an elegant atmosphere that sets a lovely tone for the stay. I loved how spacious and clean my room was, providing ample space to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff greeted me with smiles and were always ready to assist, providing a personal touch that made me feel valued. I also appreciated that there was a 'handy' cell phone available for guest use, making it easy to navigate the city without worrying about data charges. However, the breakfast felt overpriced for the options available. Quality didn't match the premium price, which was a letdown. The room also had issues with dust accumulation, leading to a less-than spotless environment. Lastly, the sitting area in the lobby could use more comfortable seating to enhance the overall experience.

Had a lovely time here! The room was really cozy, and I enjoyed the soothing massage options available. Just a minor issue with the bathroom being a bit cramped, but everything else was great. Definitely recommend checking this place out! 😊

i recently stayed here for 5 nights and was pleasantly surprised. compared to my previous trip to kyoto, the experience here exceeded my expectations with its fantastic location just minutes from the station and the comfortable amenities. the staff was incredibly friendly, making check-in seamless and provided great recommendations.

I stayed for three nights with my family and we had a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, being very close to the train station, which made it easy to explore Kyoto. The room we booked was a Grand Comfort Superior Double, and while it was nice, it felt a bit cramped for our family of four. The staff were generally helpful, but there was a frustrating incident when we inquired about room arrangements that felt dismissive. Overall, it offered good amenities, but we had some issues with space and service.

Great location and clean rooms, but noisy at night from trains outside.

Proximity to the train station is a standout feature, with quick access to local and bullet trains, which made our transportation so convenient. The staff provided excellent service, arranging luggage transport and a spa visit effortlessly. However, the room quality varied significantly. one was like a basic motel while another felt upscale, and there was a pricing confusion at check-in regarding our room allocation. The breakfast was decent and offered a mix of styles, but the noise from the train station was a consistent distraction throughout our stay.

Location is convenient for exploring the city.
The overall experience was frustrating. The room was extremely small, making it impossible for two people to move around comfortably. There were marks on the walls and ceiling, and the lack of basic amenities like drinking water facilities added to my irritation.

The location was a total lifesaver next to the station, perfect for exploring! The downside was the room lighting felt pretty dim. Overall, a solid stay though. 😊

The room was nice but a bit tight, even after being upgraded. Really comfy beds, but the pillows were a bit lumpy. The bathroom was decent, though we had some odd layout with the sink near the entrance. Overall, it felt cozy enough, but I wish it had more space for luggage. Oh, and it’s close to the tracks, but surprisingly quiet at night.

Convenient location and cozy stay
I had a wonderful 5-night stay with my family, enjoying the fantastic location just steps away from the train station. The room was spacious enough for us to manage with multiple suitcases, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious variety of options that catered to both Western and Japanese tastes. While I loved the overall experience, I did find that the storage space in the room could be improved for longer stays.
